Overview
Centralys is a modern Learning Management System (LMS) designed to help learners complete technical and professional courses efficiently. Built for both students and administrators, the platform streamlines course management, improves engagement, and simplifies onboarding for users transitioning from instructor-led programs to self-paced online learning.
The goal was to create a scalable LMS that balances powerful administrative tools with an intuitive learner experience.
My Contributions
• Led end-to-end product design - from user research, journey mapping, and wireframing to high-fidelity design and developer handoff.
• Collaborated closely with developers and stakeholders to create an intuitive experience for both students and administrators.

The Challenge
Centralys needed to evolve from traditional live, instructor-led training into a scalable self-service learning platform without losing engagement or clarity.

Key challenges included:
• Designing an LMS that works for both non-technical learners and advanced users
• Balancing admin functionality with a simple learner experience
• Improving course navigation, onboarding, and progress tracking

The goal was to streamline course delivery, improve learner engagement, and position Centralys as a modern, accessible learning platform.
Process
Discovery & Research:
Interviewed students, administrators, and stakeholders to identify friction points in onboarding, course navigation, and management workflows.
Conducted competitor analysis across leading LMS platforms to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ideation & Wireframing:
Mapped user flows for both learners and administrators, focusing on simplifying navigation, course discovery, and progress tracking.
Developed low-fidelity wireframes and iterated rapidly based on feedback.
Visual Design & Prototyping:
Designed a flexible UI system supporting dark and light modes.
Created engaging visual elements to make technical course content more approachable while maintaining clarity and readability.
Ensured visual consistency with the Centralys brand system.
Testing & Iteration:
Conducted usability testing with target users to validate the redesigned flows.
Iterated on onboarding, task flows, and mobile responsiveness based on user feedback.
